ABOUT THE POSITION:
This position is accountable for providing high quality design services that will contribute significantly to the delivery of outstanding museum projects, programs and communications setting the highest standards of innovative creativity and design excellence.
Notable skills and experiences:
- Proven ability to clarify communication problems and provide solutions by exploring possibilities through critical thinking, creativity, experimentation, visualisation and evaluation.
- You will have highly developed conceptual skills, excellent working knowledge of the Adobe Creative Suite, web design software knowledge and be able to openly contribute in a team-based environment.
- You will visualize and communicate concepts that can be applied to a variety of media including; digital media, social media, on-line media, environmental media and printed media.
- An ability to adapt to technological change with ease and embrace the challenge of learning and mastering new ways to visualise and communicate concepts.
- Proven experience in working effectively with project teams, including demonstrated knowledge of the role of design and interpretive programs in a museum or similar setting.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills with experience in participating in a multi-disciplinary team environment
- Demonstrated project management, administrative and organisational skills and the ability to assist with the development, implementation and assessment of new systems and procedures.
