As part of the Textiles, Art, Paper and Photographic (TAPP) conservation unit, the Conservation Assistant performs ongoing assistance with the preparation for storage of New Acquisitions across the National Collection. The position also provides conservation assistance for the preparation of paper-based objects which includes works of art on paper, documents, books and photographs, as well as textiles and related material, for exhibition, loan and access programs.

Note: Relevant museum studies’ certificates are highly desirable and at least 2-3 years conservation and museum experience.
