The UOW Art Collection is a major University and community asset in terms of its financial, cultural, aesthetic and educational values. It is also a highly accessible public collection offering students, staff and visitors the opportunity to interact and appreciate works of art placed in various social, learning and working environments. This developing collection is now being reimagined to ensure a more effective alignment with the UOW’s educational and research aspirations and outcomes.

The University is seeking a highly skilled Curatorial and Collections Manager to create and implement a cohesive strategy for the realignment and re-imagination of the UOWAC working closely with the Director and Executive Dean of Law, Humanities and the Arts and other key stakeholders to shape and deliver outcome driven decisions and actions. The Manager will help shape and deliver programs that enhance greater understanding and appreciation of the collection, guide and refine the collection through key accessions/de-accessions and champion the development of agreed and supported initiatives that further the UOWAC’s strategic priorities.
