The Western Australian Museum’s vision is to be an excellent Museum service, valued and used by all Western Australians and admired and visited by the World.
The Museum is seeking to appoint a Manager for Marketing and Events who can manage and coordinate marketing campaigns and events across the Museum’s six public sites. The position is responsible for the creation of strategies to increase visitation to, and awareness of the Museum and its diverse products and services. The Manager Marketing and Events works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and must be prepared to manage competing priorities and be flexible in the planning and delivery of campaigns.
In addition, the Manager for Marketing and Events undertakes the role of project manager for the Museum’s current re-brand process.
Conditions
This is a full-time, fixed term vacancy, for a period of 18 months, with a possibility of extension. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool from which full-time, fixed term appointments may be made.
Location
This position is located at the Museum’s administration office at Wellington Building, 150 William Street, Perth.
