Auckland Museum is a much-loved organisation at the centre of Auckland’s identity, committed to outstanding management of its extensive collections and the permanent and volunteer staff who tell the Museum’s stories.

The Marketing Coordinator is responsible for assisting the Marketing and Communications team with the execution of approved marketing and communications activity and promotions in order to achieve museum brand, visitation and revenue targets.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Strong project management skills with experience coordinating marketing and communications campaigns
  • A “can do attitude” who thrives in a fast-paced, cross functional team environment with ability to work “hands on”
  • Exceptional communication skills, verbally and with the ability to write for a diverse range of audiences
  • Strong time management with the ability to multi-task and work within tight timelines
  • The ability to work with accuracy and with strong attention to detail
  • Sound commercial acumen
  • Experience and interest in social media and marketing automation
  • Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe applications (including Photoshop, Premiere)
