Purpose of the Position
The Manager Marketing and Audience Development provides advice to the CEO, Executive Management Team and strategic partners external to the Museum to grow new audiences for the Museum and build deeper connections with existing audiences. To lead the strategic development, planning and execution of the Museum’s marketing, audience development, branding and events strategies to promote the WA Museum, its strategic priorities, diverse programs and services.

Job Description
The Manager for Marketing and Audience Development manages and coordinates marketing campaigns and events across the Museum’s six public sites. The position is responsible for the creation of strategies to increase visitation to, and awareness of the Museum.

The Manager Marketing and Audience Development work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders and must be prepared to manage competing priorities and be flexible in the planning and delivery of campaigns.

In addition, the Manager for Marketing and Audience Development undertakes the role of project manager for the Museum’s current re-brand process.

Conditions
This is a fixed term vacancy until 30 June 2020 with a possibility of extension and/or permanency, with the opportunity to work full-time, part time or in a job share capacity. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool from which full-time, part-time, fixed term or permanent appointments may be made.

Location
This position is located in central Perth on William Street. You will be ideally located near the underground rail link and within easy walking distance of the bustling café, tourist and shopping districts.
