Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking a passionate and experienced communicator to join our Outreach Team, based at Melbourne Museum.

MV/1040: Irregular Part Time (Min 15 hours per fortnight); ongoing
MV/1018: Irregular Part Time (Min 30 hours per fortnight); contract until June 2018

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The primary responsibility of the Outreach Presenter will be to deliver presentations which provide audiences unable to attend a Museums Victoria venue with access to the museum’s science and history collections.
Notable skills and experiences:
- Well-developed communication and presentation skills
- Ability to interpret science and history for diverse audiences
- Awareness of education and learning techniques
The successful applicant will have a background in presenting, interpretation or communication in a history, science, education, aged care or early childhood context.
OTHER INFORMATION
These positions are both irregular part-time; one fixed term and one ongoing. The salary on offer is $48,489 (pro rata) + 9.5% superannuation.
