A unique institution at the heart of Melbourne’s iconic meeting place, Federation Square, the Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) is Australia’s national museum of film, TV, videogames, digital culture and art. Welcoming over 1.45m visitors in 2015/16, ACMI is the most visited museum of the moving image in the world and the third most visited museum in Australia.

In the 2017-18 Victorian Government Budget, ACMI received $5million for the first stage of its redevelopment. In addition to developing designs for a major physical and technological overhaul of the Federation Square attraction, this funding will allow ACMI to further improve the current Flinders Street Entrance. Development Victoria (DV) will be contracted to deliver the project for ACMI, State Government and the public of Victoria.

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the exhibition project team to identify the most efficient and flexible plan to deliver successful project outcomes for the exhibition and content component of the project.

You will join ACMI, bringing with you extensive experience in delivering large scale exhibition projects with the ability to work collaboratively with internal exhibitions and project teams to meet the creative needs of the organisation. Your in-depth of knowledge of project management principles and organisational agility will see you taking the next step in your project management career.
