As the Records Officer you will be required to perform the following duties (but not limited to):
- Carry out relevant records duties associated with the central filing system and the day–to-day operations of the records service.
- Assist with the management of records for the WA Museum through supporting all users of the records management system.
- Support the Senior Records Officer to provide accurate and timely information on records management related matters to support effective planning, operational excellence and performance reporting.

This is a part time (0.6FTE or 45 hours per fortnight), fixed term vacancy until 31 January 2018, with a possibility of extension and/or permanency of either part-time or full-time after this date. There will also be a Pool running for a period of 18 months from the initial appointment. Applicants deemed suitable will be placed into a pool from which full-time, part-time, casual, fixed term or permanent appointments may be made.
This position is located at the Museum’s Collections and Research Centre (CRC) at 49 Kew Street, Welshpool.
