About the Australian Museum
The Australian Museum (AM) operates within the NSW Department of Justice and was founded in 1827 and is the first museum in Australia. The AM provides access, engagement and scientific research to increase our understanding of natural history and culture, particularly of the Australasian region. The AM holds more than 18 million objects of biological, geological and cultural collections and develops programs, exhibitions and school and community education initiatives onsite, online and offsite. The AM’s purpose is to make nature, Indigenous cultures & science accessible and relevant to everyone.

About the role
The Australian Museum is currently seeking a Strategic Partnerships Manager to secure new business and grow the AM’s revenue streams through cash and in-kind partnerships. The role leads the implementation of sales strategies and develops sales collateral to secure partnerships that will ensure the successful delivery of AM programs and initiatives in accordance with corporate strategic priorities and project schedules. Through research and analysis of business news, trends and activities, the Strategic Partnerships Manager will liaise with internal and external stakeholders to identify partnership opportunities and approach prospective partners.
