Michael Frawley, Chief Executive/Museum Director

I am of Ngāti Maniapoto/Apakura (Tainui) and Ngāpuhi descent and a former lawyer and currently the Director/Chief Executive of the Museum of Transport and Technology (MOTAT) in Auckland.

I use the extensive leadership, governance, cultural change, strategic development and legal experience I gained from the restructuring various entities in Europe (UK, France, Germany and Brussels), the US and New Zealand over the last 30 plus years to help others address their strategic and cultural issues so that they can proactively meet the challenges of the future.

My mantra is to use the lessons from the past and the present to guide you to a successful future – Kia whakatōmuri te haere whakamua

Mentoring the next generation of leaders and innovators is another focus of mine as is speaking on leadership, governance, cultural change, strategic development, law firm management and career transition.
