THE OPPORTUNITY:

Museums Victoria, Australia’s largest public museum organisation, is seeking a Programs Officer, Scienceworks to contribute to the development and delivery of programs for Scienceworks’ diverse audiences.

The Scienceworks Programs team has a strong culture of creativity, playfulness, and collaboration. We take an audience-centred approach to program development and delivery. Working with Public Programs and Education team, some core functions of this position include:

  1. Develop a broad range of on-site and online public programs that engage diverse audiences, reflect Museums Victoria’s strategic directions and embody the venue experience.
  2. Assist with Department administrative tasks, including monitoring, maintenance and ordering of program equipment and resources, program reporting, correspondence, requisitions and purchase orders, and preparation of written and verbal reports;
