We are seeking a passionate, organised and systematic person to help support collection care and information management.

The Collections Officer role involves entering collection information into databases, preparing documentation, undertaking regular checks  and sharing stories about our collection. The successful candidate will provide support services within the Collections team and assist with administration of collection-related projects and systems.

To be successful in this role you will hold a relevant tertiary qualification, and have a genuine passion for the natural sciences, the importance of collections and the role of the Museum in our community. You will have outstanding organisational and communication skills and a positive attitude.

This position is a full time, fixed-term position to cover parental leave from 3 May 2017 until 29 September 2017.
