In the 2017-18 Victorian Government Budget, ACMI received $5million for the first stage of its redevelopment. In addition to developing designs for a major physical and technological overhaul of the Federation Square attraction, this funding will allow ACMI to further improve the current Flinders Street Entrance.
The ACMI Renewal Team has a newly created part time role developing and enhancing ACMI’s digital systems in service of the new online and onsite audience experience at ACMI. This multifaceted role will see you responsible for a range of activities, from design and development of the content framework that underpins user experience, through to integration, testing, evaluation, optimisation and maintenance.
This role is an opportunity to build your skills across any of: online systems, video, realtime interaction, hardware interfacing, Python (or similar), Docker, Raspberry Pi, RESTful APIs, HTML/CSS and emerging technology. To be successful in this role you will have the ability to pick up a range of new technologies, and to be a team player who will bring a user-centric and iterative approach to your work.
This Grade 3, part time role is available 3 days per week on a limited duration basis until June 2019.
