Duties
The Research Library manages the Museum of Australian Democracy’s Political and Parliamentary (Library) Collection. This collection features materials relating to Australian political and parliamentary history, including the development of Australia’s democracy and systems of government, Australia’s prime ministers and Old Parliament House. The Research Library supports the work of the museum, including the Australian Prime Ministers Centre research program.
The occupant of this position will assist with the management of the library management system (catalogue) including providing technical advice and support, maintaining borrower records, cataloguing library items and reporting on the collection.
Eligibility
The successful candidate must be:
- An Australian citizen
- Willing to undergo and maintain an Australian government security clearance at the baseline level
