This role will plan, develop and implement the marketing communication activity and campaigns for learning programs and Future Makers, the STEM education partnership forged between the Queensland Museum and QGC Pty Ltd, a natural gas producer. You will report to the Head of External Relations and work closely with the Director, STEM Partnership. In partnership with QGC stakeholders, you will manage the delivery of marketing collateral, media relations, online presence and social media activity associated with the partnership and learning programs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Drive the development and delivery of an integrated and dynamic marketing and communication plan to promote the Future Makers partnership and associated learning activities, particularly those relevant to the Hadron Collider exhibition 2016 and the World Science Festival Brisbane regional events 2017, which are supported by Future Makers.
  • Develop and implement a detailed plan for delivery and associated resources, across traditional and digital channels, with a focus on social media to generate interest and momentum.
  • In consultation with the Head of External Relations and Director, STEM Education Partnership, collaborate with stakeholders across the Queensland Museum and QGC stakeholders to develop and implement the communication plan.
  • Develop key messages, copy, marketing collateral, media and promotional materials required to support the partnership.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers including internal graphic designers, external printers, media buyer, distribution companies and media partners (e.g. outdoor, print, media, TV and radio).
