Monash Museums Victoria scholarships (Robert Blackwood), Monash University, December 2018
We have partnered with Museums Victoria to encourage and facilitate new research project ideas and initiatives. As part of this collaboration (also known as the Robert Blackwood partnership), there are two scholarship schemes available for Monash research students.
These include top-up scholarships and bursary awards for PhD students, and one-off scholarships for Honours students.
PhD scholarship scheme
This PhD scholarship scheme offers a top-up scholarship or bursary to the value of $5,000 per annum for students whose projects are either co-supervised by the University and the Museum, or are substantially focused on an aspect of the Museum collection.

Honours scholarship scheme
This Honours scholarship scheme offers a scholarship (between $500 to $1,500) to cover costs related to the project for students who are undertaking an Honours research project based on Museums Victoria’s collection or in association with a Museums Victoria researcher.
