Duties

The Museum has an exciting opportunity for a professional to join the Property Operations team as the Facilities Management Officer with the responsibility for contract management of a range of property-related requirements, including leasing, maintenance, cleaning and fleet vehicle management. The role takes an active role in the management of external contractors engaged throughout the Museum and its portfolio of buildings, as well as providing advice and direction on contracts related to plant and equipment across all Museum sites.

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, you will provide assistance, guidance and advice to management and other staff on the range of functions associated with the Property Operations Business Unit. You will also provide advice and guidance on Property Operations issues about exhibitions and events and to consultative meetings and forums.

You will be required to project manage small projects across all Museum owned and leased properties and ensure high priority is given to the delivery of a safe, secure and enjoyable environment for visitors, and that the safety of staff and contractors is at the forefront of planning and delivery.
