Duties
- Undertake project management responsibilities throughout the planning, scoping, development and/or delivery phases of complex heritage property maintenance and works projects.
- Develop, maintain and implement management plans for the control of scope, timeframes, finances, quality, resources, risk management, issues management, stakeholder and public consultation and communications.
- Effectively and efficiently manage the scoping, procurement and delivery of professional services by external consultants in accordance with Government and Department policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Effectively and efficiently organise procurement and contract documentation for works and maintenance programs in accordance with Government and Department policies, guidelines and procedures.
- Provide high level management analysis and advice to manage legislative compliance for works on heritage properties, monitor and assess the quality of works and services provided by consultants and contractors in consultation with the project’s Superintendent.
Desirable Requirements
- Qualifications or minimum 5 years’ experience in project management and/or contract management.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience as the project manager of the development and delivery of capital works
- Current Drivers Licence
