About the role

The Digital Projects Officer contributes to the achievement of strategic and business objectives, and coordinates and assists with the development and implementation of various projects and initiatives within the digital and online environment.

We are looking for a dynamic, self-motivated individual who loves working in a positive team environment.  You excel at working with competing priorities and deadlines in the digital space, and can ‘hit the ground running’ in a fast-paced and diverse role.

The successful applicant will be expected to:

  • Maintain, track, and report on projects and operational task management within the Digital Services and Online Development team.
  • Produce and publish project-based digital content across the Museum’s digital platforms.
  • Assist in the research, development, and implementation of a range of digital resourcing projects in support of the division’s objectives.
  • Liaise with and a range of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Prepare and coordinate reports, submissions, briefings, correspondence, and advice.
  • Assist in the evaluation and review of project outcomes.
  • Assist with digital device management.
  • Coordinate Digital Services accounts management.

Pool Recruitment

This pool will be open for a period of 12 months from the day after the breach of standard claim period closes. Fixed-term, permanent, full-time and part-time appointments may be offered as vacancies arise; however, an appointment is not guaranteed.
