10 million euros in losses, counterfeit banknotes… A vast fraud network dismantled at the Louvre Museum, Le Parisien, 12 February 2026

EXCLUSIVE TO LE PARISIEN. A large-scale fraud ring targeting ticket sales at the Louvre and the Palace of Versailles was dismantled earlier this week. The losses to the Louvre alone are estimated at over 10 million euros. Around ten people have been arrested, including museum staff and tour guides.
