About the role

As the STEAM Education Officer, you will support the Lead Educator, STEAM Education Program to deliver high‑quality, inclusive education programs across MAGNT’s Discovery Centre.

This role involves assisting with the planning and delivery of interactive STEAM‑based activities, including:

  • School holiday programs
  • Weekend Discovery Centre sessions
  • Special after‑hours and overnight events

 

You will help create a welcoming, safe and engaging learning environment, supervise participants, assist with set‑up and pack‑down, maintain education resources, and support attendance and engagement data collection.

This role suits a confident, flexible and enthusiastic educator who enjoys working with children and families and is comfortable working irregular hours, including weekends and evenings. The position is fully supervised.
