Powerhouse

The Kitchen Garden Program Producer will play an integral role in delivering the Program at Powerhouse Parramatta, designing and developing an onsite program and operating model based on the Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program (SAKGF) expertise that is tailored to meet the needs of the local context. The Program will be a hands-on learning program involving weekly ongoing kitchen garden workshops, hands-on gardening activities and cooking classes for primary and secondary school aged children and the broader community. The role will be responsible for bringing SAKGF principles to life in a Western Sydney context. This includes kitchen garden expertise, curriculum design, coordination and facilitation, community engagement and overall project management and delivery. Self-motivation, strong kitchen garden knowledge, facilitation skills and ability to engage children are essential for this role.
