Aboriginal Learning Facilitator (372716 and 373152)

Assist with the delivery of a wide range of public programs including the delivery of interpretive tours, education programs, virtual tours, events and workshops both on-site and off-site.

Under guidance, assist in the planning, development, coordination, delivery and evaluation of TMAG public and learning programs with particular reference to Aboriginal content.

Assist in the preparation of publications and media based products for schools, including but not limited to, ‘The Black Box –Tasmanian Aboriginal cultural loan box’.

Liaise with schools and assist in the development of partnerships and deliver curriculum based programs related to the museum collection, in the museum and/or schools.

Liaise with departments, public bodies and the community to encourage participation in museum activities, with particular reference and relationship to the Tasmanian Department of Education (DoE) schools and DoE Aboriginal Education Services Unit.

Contribute to specific TMAG projects as identified and agreed to by your supervisors, involving internal and/or external stakeholders, commensurate with the scope and responsibilities of your position.
