Duties

The Museum has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated professional to join the Collection Development and Information team as an APS Level 4 Access and Permissions Officer within the Copyright unit. People skills will be a priority for the successful candidate as you will be part of a small yet dedicated team that not only sources external material for museum use but licenses museum material for external use nationally and internationally. Familiarity with database technology and finance systems would be useful. The incumbent will also consult with indigenous artists, their agent, or relevant community/art center to ensure all matters under the museum’s Indigenous cultural rights and engagement policy are met.

It is expected you will have some understanding of the role copyright plays within a cultural institution.
