About the role

The primary purpose of this role is to assist in the Australian Centre for Wildlife Genomics Laboratory work including molecular biological lab work, assembling and editing sequence alignments and genotype data, performing phylogenetic and population genetic analyses across a wide variety of taxa, knowledge. Also involves assisting with laboratory maintenance, knowledge of standard operating procedures and assisting with training of students, staff and volunteers/interns in these procedures

Essential Requirements

As the successful candidate, you will demonstrate:

  • Tertiary degree in biological sciences or genetics.
  • Adequate knowledge and experience in order to deliver the Key Accountabilities and perform to the Focus Capabilities outlined in the Role Description.
