Museum Victoria is seeking an enthusiastic, committed and pro-active Administration Officer to provide reception, hospitality and administrative support services for the CEO’s Directorate office and to assist the Executive Assistant in providing support to the CEO.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The position is accountable for providing high quality and timely administrative support services within the Directorate.

Notable skills and experiences:

  1. Demonstrated administrative experience including minute taking and the ability to understand and apply established office systems and basic finance procedures.
  2. Experience in working within a senior management environment and ability to undertake the role of the EA to the CEO when required.
  3. Competent keyboard skills and proven experience in Microsoft Office, particularly in the use of Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
  4. High level of professionalism, initiative, attention to detail and accuracy and the ability to adapt and work independently within a small team, as well as effectively prioritise tasks in an environment of tight deadlines and rapid change.
  5. Demonstrated experience or an understanding of records management systems such as TRIM and CRM and Events Perfect.
