We are currently advertising the following vacancies:
Administration Assistant (Regions) permanent part-time at 0.8 FTE (60 hrs per fortnight) based in Fremantle.
This position provides confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Director Regions. Our ideal applicant will have a passion for Regional WA.
2 x Retail Buying Administration Assistant, one (1) permanent full-time and one (1) fixed-term full-time until 30 June 2021, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. These positions are based at WA Museum Boola Bardip and Fremantle Museums.
This role assist’s the Manager Retail Services in administrative and clerical functions in relation to retail operations of the Western Australian Museums six retail stores.
Administrative Assistant (Engagement Directorate) – fixed-term full-time for a three (3) month period, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. Based at the WA Museum Boola Bardip.
The Administrative Assistant reports to the Director Engagement. This position provides confidential, secretarial and administrative support to the Director.
Administrative Assistant (Collections and Research) fixed term full-time, with the possibility of extension and/or permanency. Based in Welshpool.
This position reports to the Executive Director, Collections and Research and provides confidential secretarial and administrative support to the Executive Director.
Administrative Assistant, Office of the Chief Executive Officer fixed-term part-time at 0.2 FTE (15 hrs per fortnight – working Tuesday only) and casual backfill cover. Based at the WA Museum Boola Bardip.
The Administrative Assistant, Office of the Chief Executive Officer provides provides confidential secretarial and administrative support to the CEO.
About this process:
The Western Australian Museum is looking to form an appointment pool running for a period of 12 months. Suitable applicants will be placed into the pool from the written response to the questions outlined below.
Further assessment may take place after the pool is formed to place suitable applicants into vacancies dependent on the specific skills and the needs of the Western Australian Museum.
Successful applicants will be required to provide a current (within 6 months) National Police Clearance Certificate.
