AM reopening with new exhibition hall

Australian Museum welcomes back Sydneysiders, ABC Radio Sydney, 17 November 2020

The revamped Australian Museum is set to reopen at the end of November and as the excitement builds, ABC Sydney is covering all the action.

First up, on Evenings on Thursday 19 November, Sarah MacDonald will spend A Night At The Museum. Join her on a journey into the depths of the Museum’s archives, uncovering the secrets behind its hidden treasures.

Then, save the date and be part of the fun on Saturday 28 November as the Australian Museum officially opens its doors to the public. ABC Sydney Weekends host Simon Marnie will be broadcasting live from the Museum from 6 am to midday. Don’t miss it!

The Australian Museum is the nation’s first museum founded in 1827. Closed for more than a year, it has undergone significant renovations allowing it to receive world-class exhibitions.
