AMaGA 2024 Awards Winners, Australian Museums & Galleries Association, 17 September 2024

Winners of the 2024 AMaGA Awards were announced at the Australian Museums and Galleries Association’s National Conference, held on Wadawurrung Country, on Tuesday 17 September at The Goods Shed – an iconic Ballarat venue.

The AMaGAs have been meticulously designed to serve as a platform for inspiring and acknowledging social impact and innovation within Australia’s museum and gallery sector. Throughout the long history of this peer-reviewed initiative, the awards have highlighted excellence in the sector, ranging from publications and branding projects to exhibitions and public programming.

Hosted by filmmaker, historian and author Santilla Chingaipe, Nineteen awards were presented at the ceremony outlining the individual and organisational achievements of Australia’s vibrant museum and gallery community.
