Duties
The Museum has an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and talented professional to join the Information Technology team as an APS 6 Application and Database Support Officer.
The Application and Database Support Officer works closely with a range of staff across the Museum, as well as software providers to ensure a reliable and functional range of corporate applications for use at the Museum. This will include enhancing these applications and ensuring appropriate database management practices are in place.
As an Application and Database Support Officer within the Museum you will:
- Support various applications used at the Museum, including Axiell Emu, Imis and thankQ CRM, Sharepoint Online and SQL Server based applications.
- Liaise with vendors and end users to resolve issues and facilitate improvements to applications.
- Oversee basic system integration of applications including API monitoring and script maintenance.
- Help scope and develop customs reports from Museum systems.
- Assist the Digital Project Manager in the delivery of business system projects and improvements.
- Work cooperatively with other Museum staff, and other ICT Staff to plan and implement a diverse work program.
Eligibility
To be eligible to apply for this vacancy, applicants must:
– be an Australian citizen
– obtain and maintain a valid security assessment at the Negative Vetting 1 level.
