Tony Abbott, Stronger international arts ties, Media Release from Ministry for the Arts, 19 November 2014

The Australian Government is strengthening artistic and cultural ties internationally through significant agreements with India and France, countries rich with artistic and cultural traditions. These new memoranda of understanding will deepen the understanding and engagement between Australia and each of these great nations through arts and culture.

The agreement with India, which I signed yesterday, will promote and support artistic and cultural activities in both countries. We will collaborate on a diverse range of projects including the exchange of cultural exhibitions, professional exchanges, and literature and performing arts projects.
