Museum Victoria is seeking an Assistant Collection Manager to assist with finalising the transfer of tissue samples to the liquid nitrogen facility, the enhancement of tissue and storage data, contribute to the development of procedures for accessing the BioBank and for monitoring the use of tissue specimens and genomic DNA extractions.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

This position is accountable for enhancing the management and accessibility of the State Collection through the preservation of tissue samples, the improvement of access procedures, physically and electronically registering selected components of the BioBank collection and through the preparation of tissue grants for bonafide researchers.
