This permanent full time position at the Queen Victoria Museum and Art Gallery (QVMAG), assists with curatorial tasks relating to the Public History collections, exhibition development, public programme and education development, as directed by the Senior Curator Public History.

We are looking for someone who demonstrates, through behaviour, an alignment and an understanding of our values and has the following qualifications, skills and experience:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively across a complex organisation
  • Experience in developing and managing history/social history collections
  • Experience in museum collection care
