This Recruitment process is for an 18-Month Pool.

We also have a 6-month Contract position with the possibility of extension and/or permanency, for another Assistant Curator in which applicants do not need to meet the essential Diving criteria.

About the role:   Assistant Curators in the Maritime Heritage Department support the development, curation, and interpretation of the department’s collections. These positions conduct original research and deliver public outcomes aligned to the WA Museum’s Strategic plan and the departmental Operational plan, working collaboratively within the Museum and externally with partners and stakeholders.

You will have relevant qualifications in Maritime Heritage that will enable you to undertake a range of maritime heritage-related work around the State.
