A world-class cultural and creative centre, ACMI explores film, television and digital culture through a vibrant program of exhibitions, film screenings, online and learning programs. We have an exciting new role within our Exhibitions and Touring Team for an experienced Assistant Registrar to focus on our in-house exhibitions and touring programs.

The successful incumbent will be primarily responsible for supporting ACMI’s Registrar in managing and tracking all exhibition objects for major in-house exhibitions and touring projects. In addition, the Assistant Registrar is independently responsible for managing a wide range of Registration tasks and activities for a diverse range of exhibition projects and tours, as well as representing ACMI as courier at National and International venues as required. We are looking for a candidate with an extensive background in Registration in a cultural institution. This experience will be coupled with exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work collaboratively in fast paced creative environment as well as a sound knowledge of OH&S and safe working practices.
