We are seeking an Assistant Web Developer to help us achieve our mission to enrich and enliven Queensland communities. The Queensland Museum Network (QMN) is looking for someone who has experience with the administration, maintenance, design, development, and content management of large websites using an enterprise Web Content Management System (WCMS). As the Assistant Web Developer, your coding skills together with good customer service will help the Museum deliver content to various online and digital engagement channels, including exhibitions, festivals, events, and public programs.
The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding and experience with the following:
- Administration, daily maintenance, and managing content of large websites using an enterprise Web Content Management System
- HTML/XHTML
- CSS
- JavaScript, including modern JavaScript Libraries and Frameworks
- Google Analytics, Tag Manager, Webmaster Tools
It is desirable for the candidate to have knowledge and some experience with the following:
- Sitecore
- SharePoint
- E-Commerce platforms, such as Magento
- Web server architecture
- Server-side frameworks, particularly ASP.NET
- Database systems, such as SQL Server
