Powerhouse Parramatta is the largest cultural infrastructure project currently being undertaken in the Australia. The project will transform and renew one of the country’s oldest and most important cultural institutions and carry forward its legacy to reflect the changing needs of the contemporary communities of NSW.

The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences sits at the intersection of the arts, design, science and technology and plays a critical role in engaging communities with contemporary ideas and issues. Established in 1879, the Museum is custodian to over half a million objects of national and international significance and is considered one of the finest and most diverse collections in Australia.

Associate Director, Development 

Associate Director, Development will identify and secure contributions and sponsorship from corporate organisations to ensure campaign targets are met and support is secured for Powerhouse Parramatta. You will have:

  • Appropriate tertiary qualification or relevant, equivalent professional experience in arts, communication, marketing or a related discipline.
  • Substantial experience in a senior role with responsibility for successfully achieving corporate sponsorship targets within a context of tight timeframes and budgets.
  • Demonstrated experience in identifying and securing major corporate and foundation investment.
  • Demonstrated ability to establish effective partnerships with stakeholders across Government, the private sector and the community.
