The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) celebrates the screen in its myriad forms. ACMI is a major, publicly funded museum situated in the heart of Melbourne in Federation Square hosting exhibition spaces, galleries, studios, two state of the art cinemas, a Mediatheque and archive plus a shop and cafe. ACMI has a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a background in producing a diverse portfolio events and production experiences with a focus on devising positive arts experiences for young people. We’re seeking an experienced Public Programs Assistant Producer to assist and support to the Public Programs Manager and Producer in the day-to-day delivery of the ACMI’s public programs. The role is responsible for the development, coordination and organisation of a range of screen based events and programs including talks, forums and symposia, live music events and production experiences in a screen-based environment, arts-based institution or similar organisation.
