THE OPPORTUNITY:
Australia’s largest public museum organisation is seeking an enthusiastic team player to join our Public Programs team as Associate Producer, Public Programs to support the successful development, co-ordination and delivery of a range of public programs and events that engage and build our diverse Museums Victoria audiences, with a core focus on Immigration Museum audiences, and Melbourne Museum audiences as required.
Working alongside with the Public Programs team, key duties of this role include:
- Co-ordinate, support, and deliver public and education programs, events, and digital programs to ensure audience engagement objectives, experience outcomes, and business objectives are met.
- Carry out program and event duties including liaising with artists and stakeholders, coordinating staff, technical teams, and partners, and preparing program materials and documentation such as permits, run sheets, event specifications and schedules to successfully achieve program outcomes.
- Present a broad range of programs to engage culturally, linguistically and socially diverse audiences.
- Train learning facilitators and volunteers in the delivery of programs and activities.
- Assist with administrative and reporting needs and requirements, including co-ordinating schedules, timelines, financial administration, and communications and correspondence to ensure effective co-ordination and documentation of programs.
