Audience Futures: National Arts Participation Survey findings, Creative Australia, July 2026
Every three years, Creative Australia’s National Arts Participation Survey takes stock of how Australians are engaging with arts and culture. The 2025 study tells a complex story: the proportion of Australians attending arts events and festivals has increased, yet frequency of attendance has remained below pre-COVID-19 levels for some art forms. Australians cite cost as the biggest barrier to attendance, but there is more to discuss including economic conditions, touring patterns and generational shifts.
These webinars are designed to create space for asking questions, discovering new angles and finding connections that are useful for your own practice.
Audience Futures is a series of webinars bringing together practitioners and peers to interpret the latest National Arts Participation Survey findings, hosted by Tandi Palmer Williams from Patternmakers.
