Museums Victoria is seeking a Research Assistant to provide recommendations gained from the application of specialist audience research & evaluation skills and knowledge in order to achieve Museums Victoria’s strategic directions.

ABOUT THE POSITION:
The position is accountable for conducting high quality audience research and evaluation projects, producing actionable outcomes and effectively communicating them to the organisation.
Key Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated understanding of and experience in the use of both qualitative and quantitative research methodologies
- Demonstrated high level analytical and interpretative skills that produce actionable research outcomes
- Recognised ability to use digital packages for online surveying, statistical analysis and data visualisation
- High level presentation skills and extensive experience in presenting study outcomes
- Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team to establish good relations with others and network with key stakeholders (internal and external)
- Knowledge and understanding of current trends in cultural, leisure, tourism and related industries
- The successful applicant is required to undergo a National Police Records Check and Working with Children Check be assessed as suitable (new employees are required to meet this cost).
