The AURA Coordinator is responsible for assisting with overseeing the day to day activities of the AURA Operations by providing leadership to and assisting with, training of new and existing employees, and assisting with daily and evening operational requirements.

Knowledge and Experience

  • Experience as a Guide with the confidence and ability to provide exceptional service to groups of all sizes abilities and nationalities is essential
  • Must have detailed knowledge of all areas within AURA operations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, a pleasant outgoing personality and a genuine liking for people
  • Demonstrated understanding and commitment to continuous improvement
  • Must present in a professional manner at all times and be able to resolve issues in a timely and effective manner
  • Ability to deliver training programs
  • Ability to work flexible hours to provide information and assist with training across a range of shifts
  • Sound knowledge and understanding of AURA operations
  • Knowledge and understanding of OHS Regulations is highly desirable
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills including Microsoft Office

Qualifications and Clearances

  • A Certificate III or higher in guiding, tourism and/or management
  • Cert IV in Training and Assessment would be highly regarded
  • Working with Children Check
  • Police Check
  • Pre-Employment Medical
