Join ACMI as an AV Events & Support Technician in this full time ongoing opportunity and work with ACMI’s passionate Technical Services team. The role provides support for the day to day AV operations and liaises with stakeholders to plan AV and staging requirements. This includes the safe installation, removal and effective operation of portable staging, lighting, audio visual and video-conferencing equipment in ACMI’s function spaces, galleries and cinemas. The role also provides support and maintenance for temporary and permanent exhibition installations, along with preventative and reactive maintenance activities and inventory/storage management.

Our ideal team member will have relevant technical trade qualifications and/or significant work experience in providing technical support, preferably within the creative industries sector and/or a gallery environment. The role requires experienced in using moving image technology and Windows and Mac presentation equipment and knowledge of web, mobile and interactive production including streaming and video conference technologies. With well developed interpersonal skills you will enjoy working with a diverse group of stakeholders and your team members to deliver services in a changing environment.
