Sovereign Hill is a dynamic group of museums presenting the mining, social, cultural and environmental heritage of the Ballarat region and its impact on Australia’s history.

Blood on the Southern Cross (BOSC) is an explosive multi-million dollar night sound and light show that tells the story of the Eureka Rebellion. The BOSC Team consists of approximately 25 employees and delivers the sound and light show 7 evenings per week.

We are looking for a BOSC Interpreter Guide to join the BOSC Team on a casual basis. The BOSC Interpreter Guide is responsible for performing a short speech in character to audience members of up to 240 people, providing exceptional customer service to all visitors and school groups on the show and ensuring visitor safety at all times.

To be successful you must have experience with performing and/or public speaking, retail and cash handling skills and you must be able to communicate efficiently with all staff and visitors of Sovereign Hill.

We require evening availability including during school holiday periods, weekends and public holidays. This position will be approximately 5 hours per week.
