Duties
- Be the first point of contact at TMAG for all tour, guided and self-guided program requests including the Tasmanian, national and international education sector and commercial tour inquiries. Administers and maintains TMAG’s booking system including the dedicated phone line and email service, Outlook calendars and spatial bookings of galleries. Maintains databases for all tour and program inquiries.
- Work closely with the TMAG Communications Unit to update and maintain tour and educational content on the TMAG website, including the growing online educational resources, programming information and general promotional and marketing material.
- Assist the TMAG Communications Unit and the Public Programming team to produce timely online promotional content for the educational and general tour market.
- Assist the TMAG Communications Unit to maintain its image library and provide regular image updates to Tourism Tasmania and the State Growth Communications unit.
- Maintain spreadsheets and summarising results on visitor feedback and the Visitor 360 survey to assist the TMAG Communications Unit reporting functions.
- Provide assistance in the preparation of public events and programs, particularly the sourcing and preparation of digital promotional materials for website and social media platforms.
- Maintain the office filing system, including the operation of RM (records management system), and perform a range of financial support activities including initiating invoices for group bookings and general processing of accounts.
- Undertake relief Reception duties for the TMAG on a as needs basis.
- Undertake administrative support duties to other TMAG Units as required.
