Position Description

The Australian Centre for the Moving Image (ACMI) celebrates the screen in its myriad forms. Situated in the heart of Melbourne in Federation Square, ACMI is a major publicly funded museum, hosting exhibition spaces, galleries, cinemas, a Mediatheque and archive plus a shop, cafe and international touring arm. Supported by funding through the Victorian Government, it is the world’s most visited moving image or film cultural centre, attracting over 1.45 million visitors in 2015 & 2016.

The ACMI Brand & Marketing Team is a key business unit delivering ACMI’s strategic brand, marketing, communications, design, social media and audience research activities. Reporting to the Head of Brand & Marketing and managing one direct report, you will manage the development and implementation of innovative marketing activities that connect ACMI’s extensive programming streams with relevant audiences. This is an outstanding opportunity for a creative, dynamic marketing professional to join this vital part of our business. Driven by a passion for the moving image, you will be a collaborator with a proven track record implementing innovative marketing campaigns, ideally within a creative, arts or entertainment background. You will have a proactive, can-do working style and will bring the enthusiasm and drive to make this role your own.
