Museum Victoria is seeking a Business Support Officer to provide budgeting, financial reporting and business analysis services to Museum Victoria for exhibition projects, particularly inbound and outbound temporary exhibitions.

ABOUT THE POSITION:

The position is accountable for the provision of efficient and accurate financial, coordination and documentation services to ensure a robust business planning environment for Museum Victoria’s Exhibition Program.

Key Selection Criteria:

  1. Sound experience in development, monitoring and reporting of budgets and business plans.
  2. Demonstrated experience in applying analytical and conceptual skills to develop business cases.
  3. Advanced skills in the use of spreadsheets and databases use of finance software packages.
  4. Well-developed written communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to advise managers and staff on budgeting and financial management processes.
  5. Proven ability to manage competing demands, multiple stakeholders and deadlines.
  6. The successful incumbent is required to obtain, and meet the cost of, a National Police Records check and be assessed as suitable.
