Call for Submissions | Art for Earth: Climate Creativity Lab 2026, UNESCO, 19 May 2026
Deadline extended for Track 2 until 15 June 2026
Across the Asia-Pacific region, communities are already experiencing the impacts of climate change – from rising seas to shifting livelihoods, from environmental degradation to social vulnerability. At the same time, artists are reimagining how we understand, communicate, and respond to these challenges.
Under the framework of “Je Create: Culture and Innovation for a Sustainable Future”, jointly implemented by the UNESCO Regional Office for East Asia and Jeju Culture, Sports & Education Bureau, the Art for Earth: Climate Creativity Lab invites young artists to bring forward their projects and ideas at the intersection of art and climate action.
Designed with young artists, for young artists, the Lab aims to support creative solutions that:
- Inspire public awareness and behavioral change
- Strengthen community resilience
- Foster inclusive and sustainable development
