We are delighted that Ms Daryl Karp, Director of the Museum of Australian Democracy at Old Parliament House (MOAD), has accepted an invitation to join CAMD.
Ms Karp has been Director of MOAD since early 2013. Prior to this she worked as a senior executive in broadcast, digital, and cultural industries, including as CEO of Film Australia and Head of Factual Programs for the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. She is also a Director of the Special Broadcasting Service (SBS) Australia and the Children’s Television Foundation.
The decision to bring a new museum into the CAMD fold was made at the Annual General Meeting in Wellington in November 2013. An adjustment will be made to the CAMD constitution to include the MOAD.
